Vintage Jean Paul Gaultier 58-7204 Burgundy Purple Mirror 。JEAN PAUL GAULTIER MODEL 58-7204 | ARCHIVE SERIES Condition: Excellent Origin: Made in Japan Era: 1990s Vintage WHY THIS PIECE IS AN INVESTMENT This pair of JPG 58-7204 frames represents the peak of mid-90s eyewear engineering. Unlike contemporary mass-produced designer frames, this piece was manufactured by the legendary Murai in Japan. Structural Integrity: The frames feature a hybrid construction. The matte burgundy acetate front is high-density and heat-resistant, ensuring the bridge maintains its shape over time. Proprietary Metalwork: The satin-finish rose pink arms are crafted from lightweight alloy with precision-milled \"JPG\" logo cutouts. The debossed detailing provides a tactile depth that is characteristic of Gaultier\'s industrial aesthetic. Optical Precision: Equipped with original Japanese-made sun lenses. These offer lenses with a neutral gray/green tint that reduces glare without distorting natural color profiles. The \"JPG\" line was Gaultier\'s medium for blending streetwear with high-fashion futurism. These specific frames were part of a limited run that utilized matte finishes—a revolutionary departure from the high-gloss trends of the era. To find these in Excellent condition in 2026 is exceedingly rare, as most surviving examples show significant pitting on the metal arms. These remain pristine. These are authentic vintage sunglasses with original tinted lenses. They have been inspected for hinge tension and alignment. Ready to wear.
